Do you know what the fox says? Well… I don’t either, but I do know how cute they are! I’ve always had a soft spot for the adorable woodland creature. Although, that may be due to the fact that I don’t have any roaming my property. I’ve heard that they can actually be quite pesky. However, I can still appreciate a good fox creation so in this post I’m giving away a free fox hat crochet pattern.

Sizing
The pattern has a few sizes: toddler, child, and adult. It’s a fairly simple pattern making it perfect for beginners!
Important Notes
This pattern is crocheted in the round so using a marker will be very helpful for tracking your progress. Don’t forget to move the marker up with each round. It’s surprisingly easy to forget that step and then it’s all too easy to lose your spot and have to tear out stitches.
My kids love these hats. Even when it isn’t cold out, they still put them on for the satisfaction of having the animal ears on their heads!
Alternate Colors
Another idea would be to switch out the colors and make a snowy fox or a silver fox. You could even make a pink fox or any other “favorite color” you want!
Feel free to tag me in your makes on facebook or instagram. I love to you see what you make! I hope you have so much fun making these. Thank you for reading!
*This pattern is for personal and commercial (up to 50 times) use only.
