Jennie
September 5, 2024

One of the best parts about parties is the desserts! To help decorate your party’s desserts, cupcake toppers are today’s free printable. There are two different styles, the circle and the sunburst.

Three Cupcakes with toppers featuring safari animals.

These do require a bit of assembly, but it’s very simple! You’ll need:

  • Glue (I used a hot glue gun)
  • Toothpicks
  • Printed cupcake toppers (download above)

Printing & Assembling Instructions

I recommend printing these on card stock to make them more sturdy and durable. Print and cut them out then they’re ready to attach to the toothpicks.

For the easiest assembly you can put some glue on the top of a tooth pick, then place that on the bottom of the cupcake topper circle. Let the glue dry/cool down and it’s done!

Another assembly option is to print the blank circles page that matches the animal circles. The blank circles will act as a backside to the toppers. Glue the toothpick to the backing piece of the cupcake topper.

Then glue all around the rest of the circle and lay the front piece on top of the backing piece. The toothpick will be enclosed between the paper layers.

Let the glue dry and they are ready to stick in the cupcakes!
